| We envision the future of additive fabrication - layer-based fabrication processes - is for applications that take advantage of the unique capability of these layer-based technologies. Our focus is on extending the suite of applications of SLA machines, particularly in the fabrication of functional assemblies and mechanism. In short, it is our contribution to the emergence of rapid manufacturing. Applications for which manufacture is difficult, expensive, or impossible using conventional manufacturing processes are potential candidates for "rapid manufacturing." We seek to define what rapid manufacturing may look like in the future.
